Melfort RCMP are looking for the suspects behind a series of recent thefts.
They started April 22, when a blue 1994 Chevrolet truck was stolen from a parking lot in Tisdale.
RCMP were called about a break-and-enter at a business in Melfort April 25. The suspect or suspects rammed the garage door with a vehicle and stole 60 to 70 paintball guns and various other gear.
The following day, police were called about stolen fuel from a gas station in Melfort. A man in a grey truck stole about $90 worth of fuel.
Also on April 26, a red 2006 GMC Sierra was stolen from a business in the Rural Municipality (RM) of Flett’s Springs. The investigation determined an abandoned blue truck that appeared to have been painted grey with a paint roller was left on the property. Five masks, a paintball gun, the barrel of a paintball gun, three compressors, and a hopper from inside the blue/grey truck were found.
Police believe the abandoned truck is the same vehicle stolen April 22 and used in the break-and-enter April 26.
The investigation continues.
