Richard Woodman is a Canadian country music recording artist, entertainer and a singer/songwriter from Northern Alberta with Cree & Metis roots. Along the picturesque shores of Lesser Slave Lake AB., where he calls home, is where Richard finds his connection. Big skies, purple sunsets, and the serenity of nature’s inspiring beauty. With a country/rock vibe, Richard’s voice has been described as smooth, edgy and pure.
Richard is from Kinuso/Swan River First Nation AB, and grew up in a musical family which inspired him to pursue music. From appearing on CMT’s “Big In A Small Town” series and recording his first self titled EP in Nashville TN in 2015, Richard has been consistent in his craft as a vocalist and entertainer. He has performed on stages alongside Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy, Gord Bamford, Corb Lund, Emerson Drive, The Trews, Dr. Hook to name a few. Richard is a true gem and deserving of his place in the world of Canadian Country Music.
