Crews with the City of Melfort are continuing to conduct road maintenance that will result in some closures this week.
Resurfacing will take place on Shadd Drive from Spruce Haven Road to MacDonald Ave. starting today.
Director of development, planning and public relations Brent Lutz told northeastNOW truck traffic will be rerouted going north and south along Broadway Ave while the portion of Shadd Drive is closed.
“The intersections of Burrows Ave., Orr Drive and Park Ave. will be subject to closures as well,” Lutz said. “Only one intersection will be closed at a time to allow for access for the Spruce Grove neighborhood.”
The Melfort Trade Alliance Chamber of Commerce show and shine on Friday will result in portions of Main Street being blocked off as well.
“That will be starting sometime after 1 p.m., so motorists are asked to slow down and watch for detour signs,” he said.
