This past two years was pivotal in Alecia Aichelle’s career with the release of five singles, many significant shows, and a sponsor car from Scott Subaru of Red Deer for her Western Canadian Hooked On Us 2018 radio tour which included visiting over 40 radio stations. Some highlights of Alecia’s career include performing in a writer’s round at the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, opening for Aaron Pritchett and Aaron Goodvin at Westerner Days Mainstage Enmax Centrium in Red Deer AB, two shows with her band at Canadian Finals Rodeo Mainstage including being one of the openers for Lindsay Ell, and opening for the legendary Bellamy Brothers May 8, 2019 at the brand new Exhibition Hall at Westerner Park Red Deer.
Alecia has spent the past 9 months living in Nashville and recently returned home to Alberta for the summer months. Her time in Nashville has been spent focusing on building her career and learning from the best. She has had many co-writes and many opportunities performing and networking.
When the pandemic hit Alecia decided to stay in Nashville and wait it out. The pandemic was tough on a lot of people, but it did provide time to slow down, reflect, enjoy the simple things in life, and plenty of time to song write.
“It’s easy to feel stuck in a rut, especially when most of us have been stuck at home for the past few months during this pandemic. When I’m feeling that way I like to hit the open road and drive until I don’t know where I am. The adventure of getting lost makes me feel alive!” ~Alecia~
Alecia drove around the back roads of Tennessee with her windows down and sunroof open, enjoying the feeling of freedom. This inspired her latest single Get Lost which was co-written over Facetime with her producer Daniel Dennis. With references to Strawberry Wine, cruisin’ under a hot July moon, this song will give you the ultimate summer feels.
